We begin by using specialized tools and techniques to remove soot, creosote, and debris from your chimney, preventing the buildup of flammable materials that could cause blockages or chimney fires.
Once the chimney is clean, we perform a smoke draw test to ensure that your chimney is venting correctly. This helps identify any issues that may affect the safe operation of your appliance and guarantees that any gases are directed outside your home.
After the sweeping and testing are completed, we issue a HETAS Swept Certificate. This certificate serves as proof that your chimney has been professionally swept and is safe for use, giving you added reassurance.

An average sweep of a wood burner takes around an hour if two or more are being serviced please understand this can take longer and for open fireplaces or for a sweep prior to insolation of a unit these can take one -two hours depending on the state of the chimney and prior usage.
The removal of bird nests can only happen in the autumn and winter months as it is illegal to remove them from March to August during the breeding season.
Prior to the appointment we ask that the fire has not been used for 12h to allow for cooling, and that 5ft of clear space is provided in front of the appliance to allow for work, dust sheets will be used if applicable and a HEPA filtered vacuum is used as standard to minimise dust (a standard uk socket will need to be provided for the vacuum).
